CONTEST RULES
1. The contest is open to amateur (cannot be your primary business) photographers residing in NS. Contestants must be a member of NSAGC. Only one entry per contestant per class. 2. There are two categories in each class. Category A is for standard film photos. Category B is for digital photos.
3. Photos are limited to a maximum size of 4”x 6” and are to be mounted on black, white or coloured construction paper only, with a border 1-11/2 in.
4. Exhibitor's Name and Address, the Class Number, Class Name, Category A or B and Name of Club or Society to be printed on the front, left-hand side at bottom of the mount. If mount is a dark colour, please paste info on white paper.
5. Any identifying features about the photo: name of plant or location of garden, etc. may be provided at the bottom right side of the mount.
6. Photos that have previously won prizes in any photo contest may not be entered.
7. Due to display space restrictions, only winning photos will be posted for display. All others will be on display in an album. All photos may be claimed, as usual, at the end of the convention.
8. Entrants are responsible for photo pick-up, if you cannot attend please have someone else pick them up for you.
9. Photos will be judged on originality, composition, proper focus and exposure.
10. Prize stickers will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place photo in each class, prizes and stickers are awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place “Best Overall” winners.

Entries must be received no later than May 3rd, 2008.
